Burger marathon in Capitol Commons?

Get ready for a Burger Marathon in Capitol Commons!!!

Capitol CommonsWant to try something new in Pasig other than your usual Charlie’s Grind and Grill? then head on over to Capitol Commons for a quick Burger run! There’s a lot of choices to choose from especially at their Gastro Free-standing restaurants and their newly opened mall, The Estancia.

So without further adieu, here’s Between The Buns top 5 recommended list:

5. Tipsy Pig’s

Tipsy Burger 2“The Tipsy Burger”

Between The Buns: Mozarella stuffed burger with provolone cheese, American Cheese, Tomato Confit, Caramelized onions and Bacon on top! (I suggest you add more bacon and an egg in the middle)

Price: Php 420.00

You don’t have to be Tipsy to enjoy this burger! But when you are, down this baby and you’re done for the night. That’s the magic of this burger.

Next on the list, if you’re feeling a little bit like Don Corleone, then this burger is for you!

4. Black Olive Cerveceria’s

Just be sure when you dine here, be at your best behaviour. Who knows, you might be sitting beside the Godfather himself. Or not! 🙂

Next, let’s just cross the street and head on over to Estancia.

3. Highlands Prime Steakhouse’s (Soon to open in Estancia)

Highlands Burger FINAL

“Highlands Burger”

Between The Buns: Home mixed Angus Beef patty seasoned and grilled to perfection with their special burger dressing, topped with Cheddar Cheese, Tomatoes and pickles (It is highly recommended that you remove the pickles)

Price: Php 960.00

Yes, I know. It’s a little bit pricey, but I will definitely choose this over the wholesome table. Ooops, we will get there. 🙂 Now before I spoil the other No-Go Burger joints in my part 2 post. They’re still working on the store but this restaurant will be a great addition in Capitol Commons. If you can’t wait to try out their Highlands Burger, you should probably head to SM Mall of Asia first. Now, let’s move on to the next place on the list.

2. Burgers and Brewskie’s

Call the Nurse 2

“Call the Nurse”

Between The Buns: 1/3 LB 100% Imported Beef patty topped with Spiced mustard aioli, B&B Cheese sauce, SEARED MAC & CHEESE and some Honey Siracha Bacon!

Price: Php 280.00

Between The Buns recommends that you really have to obey the name of this burger. Look at all that grease, mmm, mmm. If you experience nausea while eating this burger, we suggest that you call a doctor and not a nurse anymore. 🙂

Next! who says that we are only recommending one? Here’s another one from B&B.

Burgers and brewskies 2

“Flipped”

Between The Buns: 1/3 LB 100% Imported Beef patty topped with Spiced mustard aioli, B&B Cheese sauce, Roaster Tomatoes and Fried Onion Rings!

Price: Php 215.00

If you can’t handle the first burger then just go for this one first. 🙂

What I liked about B&B is that, their burger creations are not that wild. They usually start off with 2-3 dressings/sauces and then they add 2-3 toppings that will still retain the rich taste of the patty.

Now we’re down to our last stop, and if you haven’t tried their burgers. I suggest you should! They just opened here in the Philippines just January this year. Get ready and try…

1. Buffalo Wild Wings’

Screaming Nacho Burger FINAL

The “Screaming Nacho” Burger

Between The Buns: Two grilled slammer patties seasoned with Chipotle BBQ sauce and topped with Tortilla chips, Pepper Jack Cheese, Jalapeños, Pico de Gallo and a drizzle of south western dressing

If eating wings is too mainstream for you then you should try out their Screaming Nacho Burger and you will surely scream “…..” just let me know what you screamed in the comment box below. 🙂 I’m sure BWW would like to hear it as much as I do.

Just like B&B, this place deserves a second, Between The Buns recommendation. Next burger is…

Juicy Steak Burger

The “Juicy Steak” Burger

Between The Buns: Grilled burger patty with a pile of juicy Prime Rib, Fried Onion Rings, Pepper jack Cheese and your choice of Buffalo Wild Wings sauce (I suggest you get the spicy one because you’re out for a ride when you try this!)
