This post is for all my fellow peeps out there who love to eat and travel! Now before I begin, let me ask you this – What’s the first thing that you do when you’re out on a trip? Let’s say you’re going to Cebu, Davao, or even the closest province near Metro Manila, let’s say Pampanga? I don’t know if it’s just me but I go online and search for the best places and best eats in town! And by best eats, I mean best BURGERS!
But how do you get to know about them? Do the Major Food review sites in the Philippines FEATURE them? NO!!!!
So anyway, I’m already excited to share with you our National Burger Treasures in the Philippines. Let’s start not far away from Metro Manila.
5. Pampanga – Burger Shack

Operating Hours: Daily, 4:00pm-11:00pm
234 Sampaguita St., Nepo Subdivision, Angeles City
In the heart of Angeles City, Pampanga, lies the underground Burger place called Burger Shack. How to get there? I just wazed it haha but I placed the address and operating hours above just in case you’re in the area. This burger place is the home of the Kapampangan’s Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once) Burger and Roshan Burger (Sounds familiar?)

Between The Buns: Triple patty burger topped with anything that will just make you say, “I only live once, might as well!”

4. Bulacan – Surf Burger

Operating Hours: Daily, 2:00pm-10:00pm

Love to surf and eat burgers? Then man! This is the place for you! Just a few kilometers away from Quezon City, you’ll get to enjoy crazy burger creations of Surf Burger! For starters, I suggest you try this first!
Steak Burger PRO
Between The Buns: Steak burger patty topped with Cheese, more steak strips, potato chips, onions and mayo!
Price: Php 200.00
But before you get stoked or anything, their burgers are not grilled and need work. They are also not as good as their concept too, but hey, if you want the best burger place in Bulacan, then this is it my friend. Next on the list is..
3. Baguio- Miwishayu Burgers: A great burger for Me, We, Siya and You

Operating Hours: Daily, 2:00pm-10:00pm
27 Leonard Wood Road (beside Zio’s) Baguio City, Philippines
Catchy name, right? If you’re looking for a good burger in Baguio then this is definitely the place! Just like they say it “Me, we, siya, you. It’s for everyone!!!” Better try it for yourself but as per the folks of Baguio, they love it! Between The Buns recommendation?

Between The Buns: 150g double patties with your choice of sauce, double the cheese, topped with crisp fries and stacked with six dynamites (which will blow your mind)
Price: Php 160.00
You can also ask them to add some red hot chilis to go with it, if you are up for it, Baguio is cold anyway, might need some of that extra-spiciness to heat you up! 🙂
Now enough with the North! let’s go South! 🙂 Next on the list Queen of the South!
2. Cebu – Flame it!
Operating Hours: Daily, 9:00am-10:00pm
Luz – Level 4, Ayala Center, Cebu Business Park, Cebu City, Cebu
Representing Queen of the South! Flame it! This is actually one of the best there! My brother and I stumbled upon this joint in Ayala center when we were out looking for a good lechon place to eat!
Their burgers are unique-looking. Have you ever seen a Donut shaped burger patty? That’s how they look like out there and tastes really good too! Maybe because their burgers are 100% Australian beef. But what’s good on their menu? Hmm. Oh try their:
Bacon Mushroom and Cheese Flame Half Pounder Burger
Between The Buns: 100% Pure Australian Beef Patty, topped with your BLT of course and some mushrooms, Bacon, Cheese and their Special sauce (mmm,mmm!)
Price: Php 153.00
Tried it with my brother last January 2014 and they had a Sinulog thing going on so they had colored burger buns at that time but yeah, try it! Between The Buns recommends it! 🙂
1. Davao – Backyard Burgers

There you go, guys. If you’re planning a trip to go to Davao one of these days, then you should definitely try Davao’s finest!
Backyard Burgers take pride in their made to order “Create Your Own Burger” Burgers. But they also serve awesome burger creations! Like this baby right here, grilled to perfection!

Great list! As a wheninmanila.com senior writer, I think it’s not possible to cover all these as they are not Manila. We do travel food posts. yes but we still cannot cover everything all in one go. Something like this blog would be a good go-to site for burgers. keep it up.;)

You sHould try the burgers at upperfarm steakhouse, located in digos city, around 45 minutes from davao city proper.
They have the ff burgers : naked, macho, sexy, fat and long burger.
